Data controller and policy scope

This is the official privacy policy for Plankos - Smart Plank Trainer (com.blacksunset.plankos). The app publisher and controller for Blacksunset-managed processing described here is Blacksunset OÜ (Estonian registry code 16513658), trading as Blacksunset Studio.

The app-specific sections below explain the device data and features the app accesses, the purposes of processing, external service providers, and retention and deletion practices.

When the app connects to external services named below, data is protected in transit with HTTPS or TLS. Data stored on the device can be managed and deleted using the options described below.

The app does not offer account creation, so an account-deletion request flow does not apply.

If you email support, Blacksunset OÜ processes your email address and message content to answer the request and resolve the issue. Support correspondence is kept only as long as necessary for support and applicable legal obligations.

Purpose of the app

Plankos is a daily core and plank training app. It provides short training routines, a timer, local reminders, progress tracking, and form-first progression based on user feedback.

Plankos is not medical advice. Stop exercising if you feel sharp pain, dizziness, numbness, or unusual discomfort. If you have a medical condition, injury, or concern, speak with a qualified healthcare professional before using the app.

Data stored locally

Training profile settings, reminder settings, workout history, effort ratings, form feedback, pain level feedback, and notes are stored locally on your device or in your browser storage.

Plankos does not create an account, does not require login, and does not send workout history to a Plankos or Blacksunset Studio server.

Backup export and import

You can export a local JSON backup file from app settings and import it again later.

If you share that backup file with another app, cloud storage provider, email app, or file manager, that action is controlled by you and the selected destination app.

Android automatic app-data backup is disabled for the native app.

Reminders and Android permissions

If you enable reminders on Android, Plankos asks for notification permission and schedules local workout reminders on your device.

• POST_NOTIFICATIONS: optional local workout reminders.
• VIBRATE: optional timer cues.
• WAKE_LOCK: keeps the workout timer awake during active sessions.
• RECEIVE_BOOT_COMPLETED: restores local reminder scheduling after reboot.
• INTERNET: Capacitor WebView app-shell compatibility.

Plankos does not request location, camera, microphone, contacts, SMS, call log, Health Connect, or exact alarm access.

Third-party services and SDKs

The current app does not include third-party analytics or advertising SDKs.

If you install Plankos through Google Play, Google may process store-related data such as downloads, installs, crash reports, and Play Protect information according to Google's own terms and privacy policy.

Data sharing and deletion

Plankos does not sell, share, or transfer your training data to third parties.

You can delete local Plankos data from the app settings. You can also remove the app from your device to delete app-local data managed by Android.
